Hi, I’m Rachel Epstein!

I’m a writer, editor, and content strategist based in New York City. Currently, I’m the deputy editor at Men’s Health, where I oversee the content across MensHealth.com, edit long-form features and service packages, and help shape the brand’s digital editorial strategy.

In 2023, I edited a special report on the dangers of America’s sports-betting boom, which was nominated for a National Magazine Award in Service. The following year, I was nominated in the same category for a series of stories on how our perception around weight and weight-loss has changed in the Ozempic era.

Previously, I was an editor at Marie Claire. During my 4.5 years at the brand, I wrote and edited culture, politics, and lifestyle stories, including op-eds, interviews, ambitious packages, and high-profile series. I also managed the virtual book club, #ReadWithMC, and meticulously planned the site’s live event coverage that led to MC’s record search traffic growth.

I also had a stint as managing editor at Coveteur, where I oversaw the site’s daily editorial operations, edited stories across the fashion, beauty, and living verticals, established new editorial processes to streamline workflow, and more.
